چُور اور باَغبان ایک چور ایک باغ میں گُھس گیا اور آم کے درخت پر چڑھ کر آم کھانے لگا ۔ اتفاقًا باغبان بھی وہاں آپہنچا اور چور سے کہنے لگا ، اوبے شرم یہ کیا کر رہے ہو؟ چور مسکرایا اور بولا : ارے بے خبر یہ باغ اللہ کا ہے اور میں اللہ کا بندہ ہوں ، وہ مجھے کھلا رہا ہے اور میں کھا رہا ہوں ، میں تو اسکا حکم پورا کر رہا ہوں ، ورنہ تو پتہ بھی اس کے حکم کے بغیر حرکت نہیں کر سکتا۔ باغبان نے چور سے کہا :   جناب! آپ کا یہ وعظ سن کر دل بہت خوش ہوا ، ذرا نیچے تشریف لائیے تاکہ میں آپ جیسے مومن باللہ کی دست بوسی کرلوں ، سبحان اللہ اس جہالت کے دور میں آپ جیسے عارف کا دم غنیمت ہے۔  مجھے تو مدت کے بعد توحید ومعرفت کا یہ نکتہ ملا ہے " جو کرتا ہے  خدا ہی کرتا ہے  اور بندے کا کچھ بھی اختیار نہیں "۔ قبلہ ذرا نیچے تشریف لائیے ۔ چور اپنی تعریف سن کر پھولا نہ سمایا اور جھٹ سے نیچے اتر آیا ۔  جب وہ نیچے آیا تو باغبان نے اسکو پکڑ لیا اور رسی کے ساتھ درخت سے باندھ دیا ،  خوب مرمت کی ، آخر میں جب ڈنڈا اٹھایا تو چور چلا اٹُھا :  ظالم کچھ تو رحم کرو ، میرا اتنا ...

ہزار مہینوں سے افضل شب "شبِ قدر"

ا ﷲ جل ِ شانہ نے حضرت خاتم الانبیاء صلی اﷲ علیہ وسلم کی اس آخری امت کو بڑی رحمتوں اور نعمتوں سے نوازا ہے، دوسری ساری امتوں کے مقابلہ میں اس امت کو کچھ خصوصی امتیازات عطافرمائے ہیں، اللہ کریم نے اس امت کی فضیلت کیلئے امت کو اطاعت وبندگی اور اعمال ِصالحہ کے لیے بے شمار مواقع فراہم کیے ہیں، تاکہ بندے اللہ کی رحمت ومغفرت اور جہنم سے خلاصی جیسے انعامات سے مستفید ہوں، ان بابرکت اوقات میں سے ایک رمضان المبارک کا مہینہ ہے۔ ماہِ رمضان کی سب سے بڑی فضیلت یہ ہے کہ اس ماہ میں شبِ قدر ہے، جس میں اللہ تعالیٰ برکت عطا فرمائی اور اس رات کو دیگر تمام راتوں پر فضیلت وبرتری دی۔ جو سال بھر میں ایک مرتبہ آتی ہے اور صرف اس رات کو عبادات میں مشغول کردینے والوں کو ایک ہزار مہینے کی خالص عبادت سے بھی زیادہ ثواب ملتا ہے ۔شب قدر کی اہمیت کا اندازہ اس سے بخوبی لگا سکتے ہیں کہ خالق لیل ونہارجل جلالہ نے اس کی تعریف وتوصیف میں مکمل سورت نازل فرمائی۔ ارشاد باری تعالیٰ ہے: امت ِ مرحومہ پر اس خاص امتیازی انعام کی ایک وجہ حدیث شریف میں یہ آئی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ رسول اﷲ صلی اﷲ علیہ وسلم کو پچھلی امتوں کی کچھ ...
