اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ ‎ " حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، خَلَقَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ آدَمَ عَلَى صُورَتِهِ، طُولُهُ سِتُّونَ ذِرَاعًا، فَلَمَّا خَلَقَهُ قَالَ: اذْهَبْ فَسَلِّمْ عَلَى أُولَئِكَ النَّفَرِ، وَهُمْ نَفَرٌ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ جُلُوسٌ، فَاسْتَمِعْ مَا يُجِيبُونَكَ، فَإِنَّهَا تَحِيَّتُكَ وَتَحِيَّةُ ذُرِّيَّتِكَ، قَالَ: فَذَهَبَ فَقَالَ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ، فَقَالُوا: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ " اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کو ایسی صورت میں پیدا کیا کہ ان کا قد ساٹھ ہاتھ (یعنی تقریبا 30 گز تھا) جب ان کا جسم مکمل ہوا تو خدا تعالیٰ نے فرمایا، جاؤ اور ان بیٹھے ہوئے فرشتوں پر سلام کہو اور ان کا سلام سنو جو وہ کہیں گے، تیرا اور تیری اولاد کا یہی سلام ہوگا، پھر آدم علیہ السلام نے "السلام علیکم" کہا، فرشتوں نے "السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ کہا۔ " (صحيح بخارى، كتاب الاستئذان) فرمانِ باری تعالی ہے : ﴿ وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُمْ بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّ...
