ایک مرید نے مولانا روم سے چند سوالات پوچھے جن کے انہوں نے بہت خوبصورت مختصر اور جامع جوابات عطا فرمائے :   سوال نمبر -1  زہر کسے کہتے ہیں؟ ہر وہ چیز جو ہماری ضرورت سے زائد ہو، وہ ہمارے لئے زہر ہے خواہ وہ قوت و اقتدار ہو، دولت ہو، بھوک ہو،انانیت ہو، لالچ ہو، سستی و کاہلی ہو، محبت ہو، عزم و ہمت ہو، نفرت ہو یا کچھ بھی ہو۔ سوال نمبر -2 خوف کس شئے کا نام ہے؟ غیر متوقع صورتِ حال کو قبول نہ کرنے کا نام خوف ہے۔ اگر ہم غیر متوقع کو قبول کر لیں تو وہ ایک ایڈونچر ایک مہم جوئی میں تبدیل ہو جاتی ہے۔   سوال نمبر -3 حسد کسے کہتے ہیں؟ دوسروں میں خیر اور خوبی کو تسلیم نہ کرنے کا نام حسد ہے۔ اگر ہم اس خوبی کو تسلیم کر لیں تو یہ رشک اور انسپائریشن بن کر ہمارے لئے ایک مہمیز کا کام انجام دیتی ہے۔اور ہمارے اندر آگےبڑھنےکاجذبہ پیدا ہوتا ہے-   سوال نمبر -4 غصہ کس بلا کا نام ہے؟ جو امور ہمارے قابو سے باہر ہو جائیں، ان کو تسلیم نہ کرنے کا نام غصہ ہے۔ اگر ہم تسلیم کر لیں تو عفو درگزر اور تحمل اس کی جگہ لے لیتے ہیں۔   سوال نمبر -5 نفرت کسے کہتے ہیں ؟ ...

چڑیا کی نصیحتیں

چڑیا کی تین نصیحتیں ایک شخص نے چڑیا پکڑنے کےلئے جال بچھایا. اتفاق سےایک چڑیا اس میں پھنس گئی اور شکاری نے اسے پکڑ لیا. چڑیا نے اس سے کہا  :   ” اے انسان ! تم نے کئی ہرن ‘ بکرے اور مرغ وغیرہ کھا ۓ  ہیں، ان چیزوں کے مقابلے میں میری کیا حقیقت ہے . ذرا سا گوشت میرے جسم میں ہے اس سے تمہارا کیا بنے گا۔؟ تمہارا تو پیٹ بھی نہیں بھرے گا ، لیکن اگر تم مجھے آزاد کردو تو میں تمہیں تین نصیحتیں کرونگی جن پر عمل کرنا تمہارے لئے بہت مفید ہوگا۔ ان میں سے ایک نصیحت تو میں ابھی کروں گی۔ جبکہ دوسری اس وقت جب تم مجھے چھوڑ دو گے اور میں دیوار پر جا بیٹھوں گی۔  اس کے بعد تیسری اور آخری نصیحت اس وقت کروں گی جب دیوار سے اڑکرسامنے درخت کی شاخ پر جا بیٹھونگی۔ اس شخص کے دل میں تجسس پیدا ہوا کہ نہ جانے چڑیا کیا فائدہ مند نصیحتیں کرے ،  اس نے چڑیا کی بات مانتے ہوئے اس سے پوچھا :  تم مجھے پہلی نصیحت کرو ‘ پھر میں تمہیں چھوڑ دونگا  ۔ چنانچہ چڑیا نے کہا :  میری پہلی نصیحت یہ ہے کہ "جو بات کبھی نہیں ہو سکتی اسکا یقین مت کرنا"۔ یہ سن کر اس آدمی نے چڑ...
