موت سے بھاگنے والا موت کے منہ میں (کتاب’’حکایاتِ رومی‘‘ ) انسان لاکھ تدبیر کرے۔ تقدیر اسے وہیں لے جاتی ہے جہاں اس کا نصیب ہو اور وہ خود تقدیر کے عزائم پورا کرنے کے لیے اسباب فراہم کرتا ہے۔موت اور رزق دونوں انسان کے ساتھ اس کے سائے کی طرح چپٹے ہوئے ہر وقت اس کے پیچھے رہتے ہیں مگر انسان ہے کہ رزق کے پیچھے بھاگتے بھاگتے اپنا پیچھا کرتی موت کو بھولنا تو در کنار اس کا تصور تک کرناگوارا نہیں کرتا ۔ اسی طرح حکایات سعدی میں ایک واقعہ تحریرکیا گیا ہے کہ ایک لنگڑے آدمی نے بیٹھے بیٹھے ایک بہت سی ٹانگوں والا کیڑا مار دیا، ایک خوش طبع آدمی پاس سے گزرا ۔ اس نے یہ حال دیکھا تو کہا کہ سبحان اﷲ ہزار پیروں والا کیڑا جب اس کی موت آئی تو ایک لنگڑے لُولے کے سامنے سے بھاگ کر بچ نہ سکا۔ سچ ہے کہ جب موت آجاتی ہے تو موت سے بھاگنے والے کے پاؤں باندھ دیتی ہے۔ HOME
